The-0704-Y-Axis-Problem
| This was something that should have been checked ages ago but, have not had much need for relying on the graduated scale because of using a dial indicator when required. Realized that while X axis gave a true .100" for a 360° handle rotation -- the Y axis only gave a travel of .079"! Long and short of it is, Y axis leadscrew is moving on a metric range! Spoke with Grizzly and am expecting a replacement leadscrew and nut eventually. Then we'll have fun tearing down to install it! |
