4 Way Tool Post Clone Part 2 - Just a 'T' Nut!
| The previously aborted tool post project is being resumed, although we did investigate using a small fly cutter for stock removal, but still way too slow and tedious in the lathe. Having found an outside machining source, the two blocks have been milled out ready, so as to now be able to proceed with the rest of the job. A seemingly small and insignificant part required is a T-nut - however, having had to again resort to using just the lathe, decided to document the rather tedious process. |
