Harbor Freight Bandsaw Counterweight Shelf
| Many people are aware of potential instability when this machine is used for vertical work. Even with improved wheels, the considerable weight bias towards the motor end is quite significant. To improve this, a small addition has been made to the opposite end, by making and fitting a simple shelf - in order to be able to add weight when doing vertical work. Placing of a 28lb weight now makes that end much harder to lift and so counter balances the machine very effectively, making for greater stability and safety. |
