Adapting a Backplate For a New Chuck, Part Two, Final
| We carry on from where we left off in part one. Work on this was done in several stages so might be some verbal repetition here and there. One or two hassles on the way needing small tweaks, but overall we got there in the end. Thus far seems about 2 thou run-out but probably make a few more adjustments later in case we can improve on it... not perfect, but hopefully with the nice new jaws it will grab work much more consistently - unlike the old one! |
