Fixed Steady Fingers Threading
| At last - time to get to modifying the fingers on the home-made steady (based on a Myford Al casting), to improve adjustment ease and accuracy. Initially dreamed up a method for indicating to deal with the presence of a flat - only to realize of course - use a collet - so much easier! Threaded all four 1/2" x 20, over largest practicable area - now can add nuts for easy adjustment. End result quite pleasing. |
