Lathe Brake Project, Main - Part One
| At last, we commence this project after a lot of deliberation - influenced most usefully by some comments received in previous planning and experimental videos. Initially we are dealing with machining the hub on which to mount the rotor disk plus drilling and tapping for bolts and set screws. Finally, setting that up on the end-of-motor-shaft pulley fork unit hub. That was finally lightly drilled for dimples to accept the cone point set screws for a rotational constraint. Next, we have to mount the caliper and then later set up a cable and lever. |
