Lathe Brake Project, Main - Part Three
| Finally in this project series - we set up a means of mounting a brake lever on the headstock and then run a short cable length from that to the caliper unit. Overall it works well, if a bit aggressive unless careful. Probably we will make some sort of simple adjustable stop to limit the final 5% or so travel of the brake lever. (See part three 'extra'.) |
