| Trying one method to reduce the swivel pin slop by cutting slots in the bottom and applying the tightening expansion force of a small countersunk bolt, to spread things a bit. Partial success but not a true 100%. We'll probably keep this device for concave cutting only. Hope to move on soon to a new ball turning project, making use of a boring head in the tool post which may give better results. |
