| Here we move on with the milling required on the "swivel base" - the 3" x 1/2" disk. Main removal of material is central, to accommodate a piece of 1" x 3/8" bar - that will act as the sliding movable base for a tool post. The other material removal is on one side in order to have a section next to the bar slot for using set screws for locking. |
