Motorized Turntable, Part Four
| Update -- The project is still ongoing, as various options still continue to be considered, in particular the way to best achieve grounding to the turntable. Here, in preparation for some method of using brushes, we tidied up the turntable to achieve potentially three surfaces that could be used for brush contact, as well as partially improving what was originally some quite marked run-out. Video of the actual machining on a faceplate got carelessly lost! - so we have just described the changes! A suitable method of brush application is yet to be finally decided. |
