Shars Swivel/tilt Vise First Use
| It was felt worth remaking the ball turning boring head tool holder, as the original had not offset-bored true enough. To this end we try out a new swivel/tilt vice from Shars. Didn't video the drilling etc but here just a description of the process, related to the vice first impressions. Some modifications are planned but overall 'as is' the vice is a useful addition to the shop, even though a bit high for drilling in the mill - best for actual milling of special angles. |
