Thread Cutting Preferences
| Most are well familiar with thread cutting but there are a few variable choices that can differ between machinists. Here, a simple example showing two aspects I like to employ to make it easier, both for accuracy as well as cross slide return speed. We show the cross slide travel stop and, use of an indicator on the compound. These approaches are just what works well for lil' ol' me!
