Toolpost Locking Handle, Part Two of 95%
| Continuing on making the handle (Inspired by Halligan). Making my own for the Shars type toolpost, to save having to use a wrench all the time! No 14mmx1.5mm tap until a bit later on, but thought we'd get all the rest done in advance and document this essentially very small and simple project. Drilled the main boss already for the handle without checking for locked position but will probably just add a bottom thrust shim/washer etc. Short final to come when tap arrives. |
